Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has a vacancy for a Security Guard at our head office in Bonaero Park. The successful application will report to the Manager: Facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Protect the company’s staff and property by maintaining a safe and secure environment through quality access control;
– Monitor and control access to and from the Safair facility;
– Ensuring that only authorized personnel, vehicles and materials enter, move within, and leave the facility;
– Assist with the eviction of violators from the premises;
– Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances;
– Reporting of any suspicious incidents and/activities;
– Patrol all facilities and perimeter;
– Assist with Ad Hoc duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
– Grade 12;
– Security Grade C grading;
– Proven work experience as a security guard with contactable references;
– Aviation experience preferred.
– Good verbal and written communication skills;
– Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays.
