Job Purpose:
Ensure consistent general cleaning and upkeep of the Joburg Market premises. The main aim is to create a well-kept, neat, and aesthetically clean environment for traders and visitors to the Joburg Market.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Moving furniture, files, equipment
- General handyman work
- Sanitise litter bins with a suitable chemical
- Lift drain covers and remove debris (kerb inlets) Wash and sanitize all drains in gulleys
- Wash and dry all guard rails and barricades
- Damp wipe all fire equipment cabinets
- Wash all roller shutter doors including door frames
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10
- At least 1-year relevant experience in cleaning environment
